First of all forget everything you think you know about me because chances are most of what you've heard isn't true. People these days seem to have a tendency to lead very boring lives and so they feel the need to come up with, or spread lies in order to make their lives more interesting. But before we get into that any further you probably want to know who I am. My name is Victoria Asher, and I am the keytarist for a little band called Cobra Starship. Yes, I know my band mates are hot, but no I have not slept with them.

Anyways, as I was saying my name is Victoria and I am 24 years old. I have a dog named Gizmo, who is basically the cutest thing to ever grace this earth. For those of you who don't already know I am the daughter of producer/manager/musician Peter Asher, who had the hit band Peter and Gordon, who were part of the British Invasion. I am also the niece of Jane Asher, the woman who was engaged to marry Paul McCartney but didn't end up marrying him due to the fact that he was seeing other women during the time that they were together. I remembering being a little girl and sitting with my father while he would play different records back then, telling me all about what it was like to produce records for certain people. There's nothing more satisfying than listening to him talk about his past. The whole world of the music business was definitely instilled in me at an early age. As far as my own experiences in the music business go, I guess you could say that my first big break happened when I was 8 years old and was chosen by Neil himself, to sing on Neil Diamond's Christmas Album which appeared on an HBO taping he did not long after that. During my high school years I decided that I wanted to be a musician. But not your typical musician. I wanted to pick up an instrument that was far less common than what you'd normally find in a band. That is why I chose to play the keytar instead of something simpler. Granted I do play a little keyboard too, I mean the two do go hand in hand quite a bit, but mostly I stick to keytar these days. Besides, what's the fun in trying to be like everyone else anyways? Not long after I made that decision and spent a little time actually learning how to play the thing, me and a couple of my friends decided to form a band together called "Optimo". It was never really meant to be anything big, basically just a couple of friends hangin out, doing what they love to do and making music together. It may not have been anything big but it was definitely enough to make me want to pursue bigger and better things.

By the time I started school film school in New York City I had decided that being involved in the entertainment business was how I wanted to spend my life. Not only did I want to do behind the scenes work but I also wanted to do something bigger. I started out doing simple things like directing a video for Optimo as well as a few other commercials, music videos, and tour montages and things like that. My work was even good enough to land me a job or two along side of not only Michael Gundry, who's directed videos for Bjork, Radiohead, The White Stripes and several others. I also scored a few jobs with Terry Gilliam, who directed "The Adventures of Baron Munchausen" plus a few of the Monty Python movies. Needless to say I was pretty excited when all of that went down. Fast forward to a few years later, a little ship called Cobra Starship landed on my doorstep and beamed me up to be a part of their world domination. Actually, it was more like they found me through my solo work myspace page, saw that I played keytar which just happened to the instrument they needed at the time and so they got ahold of me, asked me if I wanted to try out and I jumped at the chance. The rest is pretty much history.

I've been a part of Cobra Starship for almost two years now and I've loved every single minute of it. Two years may not seem like a long time to a lot of you out there but to me it seems like it's been a hell of a lot longer. In a good way of course. I love those boys more than anything so if any of you hurt them plan on having a feisty rather tall chick after you. I'm 5'11" incase you were really wondering. They protect me and I protect them. It's just the way our friendship works. Above all that the whole thing has been one hell of a mind blowing experience. Never in a million years would I have imagined that I'd be a part of something this big. I don't think I could possibly be anymore thankful to the guys for getting me into this than I already am. I owe them pretty much everything I've got for this. Don't get me wrong though I've worked long and hard to get what I've got so if you think I'm going to become one of those people who walks around like their shit don't stink, think again. That's not my style. I also have a little side project going called "NotInTown" with Frank Staniszewski, the keyboardist from Big Rock City. Plus my own little VickyT solo work, here and there.

As far as rumors go. I've said it already, I've never slept with any of my band mates. And as for that little rumor about a collaboration between me, Patrick Stump and Ashlee Simpson, some how that whole thing got blown way out of context. All Patrick did as far as that went was teach me how to use GarageBand to help me out a little. That's not to say I don't appreciate him for helping me out, it's just me saying that what was created by that was created solely by me. Yes, he did give me his opinion of what was created and so did Ashlee but that was as far as it went. As far as recent trash talk that's been said against me lately goes, it comes with the job. I don't claim to be a perfect person but when it get out of control I am not afraid to address it either. Trash talk Vickyt and expect to hear about it.

Well, I guess that about covers it. I'm a smoker, I'm a drinker, I can be a party girl when I wanna be, and I'm not afraid to admit that I go both ways if ya know what I mean. If I've left any questions unanswered I guess that just means you're going to have to track me down and ask me yourselves. VickytsGotSass, that's where you can find me. Get to know me, you might be surprised with what you find out.
